About UTS College 

A pioneer and leader of Australian international education, UTS College has for decades provided education pathways for University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia, and through partnerships in China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, South Korea and Vietnam, and on its own campus in Columbo since 2019. UTS College collaborates with and is an entity of UTS. UTS College programs set students up for success in their university study to realise their full potential, currently offering diplomas in the areas of business, communication, design & architecture, engineering, information technology or science and graduate certificates in the areas of accounting and finance, communication, and technology practice to both international and Australian students. This is an exciting time for the strategic revaluation of products and partnerships, and further innovation in pathways education. 

 

About the position 

students sitting on UTS campus greenThis role monitors the international pathways education space to develop business with potential to meet UTS College’s strategic objectives, and sustainable growth over the longer term. Key to the position is the collaboration and consultation with the education and market insights teams, as well as with a variety of stakeholders, to co-develop transnational partnerships and new products.

The right candidate 

The right candidate will have at least five years of management experience in transnational or international education or in a comparable sector, and brings understanding of how to apply strategic analysis and business intelligence to develop sustainable growth of products and partnerships in a complex and shifting operating environment. While higher education sector experience would be an advantage, more important for success in the role is a proven capacity for entrepreneurial strategy, creative thinking and future-orientation to see potential and viability in the global market for UTS College.
