Recent appointments: Pro Vice-Chancellor Learning Transformations, Pro Vice-Chancellor Digital Innovation & Learning Futures

The University of Western Sydney is a major urban university with a distributed multi-campus network across Greater Western Sydney, a region of opportunity, diversity, challenge and growth.

The University is building on its reputation for resilience and flexibility to cement a student-centred and research-led culture at the core of this next phase of development.

The Vice-Chancellor seeks to appoint two new members of the University Executive. These new positions will be critical to the University realising its core objective of being a distinctively student-centred university.

The ideal candidates will bring vision, innovation, agility and a sense of ingenuity to this endeavour.

These roles will suit accomplished leaders of learning and digital technologies portfolios, who are leaders of, at times, disruptive innovation.

The roles require enthusiasm and informed approaches to transformational change: the ability to meet the changing needs and expectations of students, with the potential for engaging learning, and balanced with the quality and compliance requirements of a broad academic program and a multi-campus environment. The right people bring track records of innovation adoption by large, diverse communities at an enterprise level

The successful candidates will be people who identify strongly with the University’s mission, history and commitment to students, staff and needs of the region.
