Recent appointments: COO, Monash Indonesia

Congratulations to Tantia Dian Permata Indah who joins Monash Indonesia as its inaugural Chief Operations Officer (COO). The COO will be part of building Monash Indonesia into a new postgraduate university that will contribute to the well-being of the country and the region. The position oversees the operational management of Monash Indonesia, including leading the administration, governance, resource and business planning functions. The appointment was made following an international executive search.

About Tantia Indah

Tantia brings a background of leadership in a number of entrepreneurial, start-ups in ed-tech, health-tech and online travel services in Indonesia and at multinational corporations.

Tantia is currently the COO of ed-tech company Zenius and previously was the Vice President of Operations at Indonesia’s leading digital health company Alodokter. Before joining Alodokter, Tantia was the Head of Customer operations at Traveloka. Traveloka is an Indonesian unicorn company that provides airline ticketing and hotel booking services online, serving Southeast Asia and Australia (Wikipedia). Styling itself as Southeast Asia’s lifestyle super app, the company now provides a wide range of lifestyle activities and financial services products.

Aside from her executive appointments in operations and business development, Tantia has past experience in human resources at two multinational companies. She studied Management at the University of Indonesia and continued through her Masters at PPM School of Management.

Tantia’s early association with Australia began during her undergraduate study, when she completed a student exchange at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She remains actively involved in the Australia-Indonesia alumni forum.

Tantia is also a sought-after speaker on the topics of organisational excellence and digital disruption.
